Bio
LNE is a pop rock band based in Los Angeles, Ca. Lead vocalist and songwriter, Eleni, mixes her power driven lungs with ambient rock guitar played by Brandon Hillery, melodic and distorted bass from Kurt Blankenship, heavy hitting drums with Nate Carter and dark, buzz saw synths to make this moody and mysterious pop sound. It was created through critical collaboration and... well, alot of Vod.
The band was formed at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. Early on they played two major summer festivals: Epicenter 2010 and Sunset Music Fest 2011 at the MI stages. During, LNE also won Coast to Coast's Battle of the Bands 2010 which marked the start of their bi-coastal college radio tour. LNE has been interviewed and featured at 91.7 WCUR The Curve (West Chester College), 88.3 WWEC The Sound (Elizabethtown College), 97.1 WIXQ The Ville (Millersville University), Titan Internet Radio (CSU Fullerton), and KDHR Online Radio (CSU Dominguez Hills).
LNE recorded their first full length album, Strickly Vod, at The Pie Studios with Producer/Academy Award winning Engineer, Nels Jensen. After the Summer 2011 independent release, the music video for the first single, Dressed In Black, was featured all of August 2011 on FUSE on DEMAND Cable TV as well as nominated for Best Music Video at the 21st Annual Los Angeles Music Awards.
With a new album in the works for 2013, LNE is gearing up for their showcase at the NACA Mid Atlantic Conference in Lancaster, PA this coming October with a small east coast college tour.
