Locked In Tension

Hey, im Peril of the hiphop group "Locked In Tension". We are a group of kids from the bronx who portray the life we live as a teenager in New York City through our music. the group consist of four guys more or less from the same neighborhoods. Peril, Step, SickFit, and geez lueez are our names and were interested in taking hiphop in our own direction. we arent your typical shoot em up or i spend tons of money kinda rappers, we rap about what we know and wat we do. We would be those kids you see hanging out at union square with gauges and tattoos going to hardcore and metal shows then trying to find a party afterwards. I would say we dont come from the same roots as a typical rapper whos stuck in his ways and his "hood". We try to let people know about a different social scene in new york city thats rarely spoken about but often viewed. Even though we are influenced by hiphop. hardcore, metalcore, and deathcore influence us heavily, we enjoy the melodic sounds and beatdowns bands such as carnifex, the black dhalia murder, it dies today, or white chapel would provide. With influences like this do you really think we would just bend in like the rest or stick out like a sore thumb? thats somthing you should ask yourself.
