Lockness, is an American song writer, born and raised in San Diego, CA. He is currently residing in Phoenix, AZ. He is well in tune with the culture and lifestyle of things on the Westside of the map. Growing up in a gang infested environment he had his share of losses and depressing times. Prison cells and bullet wounds are a small part of the harsh reality that he and many others like him had to endure. Music has provided him an outlet and way to express his story. The versatility showcased in his music shows the different aspects of life that he has personally experienced. His distinct voice along with witty lyrics and stellar concepts show the "artistic genius" within him. With influences from Tupac, Biggie, Ice Cube, and Jay-Z he has learned how to reveal his story through his craft unlike no other.
