This is the first song released by Theone. He hails from OKC, and this is just one of many drops coming in the future. It features an artist Livid Color, who is also a local artist that resides in OKC. This song is purely vibe$, and was made in thought of being played while driving in the car at night. The idea for this song transpired from moments of me thinking more from a situation than what it really was. Blindsided. Who hasn't been there? It's more about how you bounce back from those situations, and what you manifest for yourself after the chaos. Don't Play Me is self explanatory in itself if you listen. In the end you'll just wind up playing yourself.
Theone has a few shows lined up with his latest being on April 8th @ OKC Metro Music Fest at 9pm. He also is gearing up for his first EP coming v. soon titled "Way Past Due". - LineUpOKC

Bio
Born in Texas, but raised in the diversified parts of Oklahoma City, Theone is looking to break out from the local scene to showcase his talents. His music can be described as a conversation between him and his encounters with the people from his city.
Theone's lyrics and vocabulary contain emotions of rage and courage to illustrate how he wants people to feel when people hear him speak. Like a furious bull seconds after being released from its cage at a rodeo, he is not one to shy away from dropping it down a notch when crooning about former flames, long nights of partying, the constant tug of war with him attempting to live in the moment, while concerned about what’s coming next, and self-introspection of his doings.
Heavy 808s coupled with riveting hi-hats and smooth horns help to describe his vibey, drug-induced, up-tempo sound.
