I was born and raised on a farm in Idaho. My father raised me on Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, Crosby Still Nash & Young, Bob Marley and the like. My mother's influence was on the softer side, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Carol King, and so on. I found surf music on my own, then Big Band Jazz. In Jr. High I was introduced to Ska and Punk, the first modern music I ever listened to.

I played in Ska/punk bands through High School, occasionally jamming or filling in with some old hippies playing classic rock, blues, or oldies, then one of my bandmates introduced me to the world of multitrack recording. I recorded my first solo CD in 2000.

Since then my style has evolved more towards mellow indie music. I recently released my newest album "One Man Band of Gypsies" which I would describe as "beach bum hippie rock"
