Born in the streets of Brooklyn, New York, raised in the dirty south of Atlanta, Logan’s flow and style has been highly influenced from his life experiences. I present to you rapper Logan's 'The Hangover' mixtape, hosted by DJ Capcom. The mixtape contains 15 tracks with solid instrumentals and verses coming from Logan and featured artists SP & Yung King. Running through the project is the theme of the chilled and party lifestyle, brought to us with clean cut verses and a smooth flow. The mixtape even contains a freestyle to Fabolous' 'Y'all Don't Hear Me Tho' track. I need to reiterate that the production on this mixtape is crazy! Logan is an upcoming Hip-Hop artist that was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Logan began his musical pursuit at age 14 with his cousin Marcel a.k.a SP making beats using soul samples and heavy bass. He began freestyling on these beats and pretty soon Logan added more structure and direction to his lyrics.In the summer of his junior year in high school, Logan linked up with long time friend Brian Mitchell a.k.a Yung King and they began recording fully formatted songs heavily inspired by their joint passion for lyrics and inspiration (that's reefer lol). They formed a group that would later be known as The Royal Family. - MusicaVaulte
As everybody well knows we have a new criteria for reviewing music. We are now going deeper than ever before into the music, and dropping more detailed, and critical reviews for independent rap artists. Today we are talking about "The Hangover" mixtape from Logan, hosted by DJ Capcom. Quite the enjoyable mixtape indeed, and most definitely not a long shot to call it a work of art.
The production is absolutely amazing, and fits the theme of the mixtape. There is a good variety as well, that should keep you quite entertained, and interested. The originality is definitely there. Every song seems like a scene out of a movie, or moment in time of his life. Sound quality is fantastic as well. I can hear any of these songs on the radio (edited of course). The lyrics are actually refreshingly good on this mixtape. Logan to me should be the next thing blowing up the airways. His vocals are so professional over the beats that I feel like I am listening to some major music.
Lets talk about the artistry for a minute because this is also something he hammered. The theme of the mixtape was never broken. It was like a continual dramatization from a soundtrack to the life of a party animal. From the thoughts of a man in that life, to the actions, to the experiences; it is all here. His performance over the beats is perfect as well. I could see this mixtape performed track for track at a major concert and rocking the crowd straight through. So the next question; is it entertaining?.... is a mute point. This is like watching the next block buster from Will Smith, and that is an understatement.
Overall I give this mixtape 2 thumbs up, and a perfect 5 out of 5 for content. Never a dull moment, and I mean that. Logan deserves to be paid for every copy of this mixtape (no freebies). Homie I hope you are out there getting paid in full. This deserves it!!!!!! - DirtyScopeBeatz

Logan was born in Brooklyn and raised in Atlanta which can be heard in his music with his New York flow mixed with the southern sounds. His latest project hosted by DJ Capcom "The Hangover", was downloaded over 30,000 times, achieved bronze on Datpiff.com, reviewed on several blogs and by Jazzy Pha himself through a personal video shoutout which can be seen in the 'press' section.
Logan has performed at venues all over the east coast from Florida to D.C. in front of crowds ranging from 100-300 people. He stands with full confidence on stage and is motivated to continue to make more music, to inspire other artists, to share his passion and to show the world what he is meant to do.
