15 Years ago the great Gordan Gecko instilled in all of us the idea that "Greed is good." Fast forward to the present and that ideology has proven detrimental to 99% of American society. Still, at the end of the day most of us are just paperchasers. On July 6th, just 48 hours after we celebrate our nation's independence, one of North Carolina's most buzzing emcees, Lo Keys, looks to raise his stock in the rap game for the shareholders in real hip-hop with his new project American Greed (Scams, Schemes & Broken Dreams).
Lo Keys looks to keep up his streak of witticisms on wax with the follow up to 2011's The Green Hornet mixtape. For his first full-length effort of the new year, the NC rhymer trades quotables with the likes of Mobb Deep's Prodigy, Killer Mike, Jon Connor, Killa Kyleon and frequent collaborator Young Gliss.
