I have to mention a woman I saw a week before this. Going by Lola she is a rock diva. A stunning girl in leather and studs took control of the stage and the room singing pop in its purest definition. It mightn’t be for everyone but the performance was different too, her honesty and character was unique as she wears her influences on her sleeve, Alanis Morrissette, P!nk, Feist. Lola is in the studio writing and recording for her debut album showing glimpses of tracks that will rival some of her more established peers in the industry.
She's got passion and fire in her vocal and lyrics which connect with the listener and evoke energy and tears.
She is currently getting radio play in the UK and is top of the list on "what's hot" on the Muzooka music streaming website in America.
Lola is influence by many of the rock and pop legends of our time ranging from Michael Jackson, Queen, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen and Thin Lizzy, to No Doubt, Lady Gaga, P!nk and Feist.
She has a very unique quality to her vocal which is shown best by some of the more alternative ballad tracks. Also expect to be brought to your feet by some of the dance style and pop tracks which she does with a distinctive flair.
