Bio

Lola D. Pearl has come to prominence following the release of her debut studio mixtape “Herstory” (2010), which included the hit "A Little Something.” She is well recognized for her eccentric and unique sense of style as a recording artist, in fashion, in performance and in her music videos.
Born November 10, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York, Lola D. Pearl has become one of the most up and coming widely recognized and highly respected young women in indie culture. She established herself by rising the Reverbnation Local Indie Charts at number 6 while developing her aspiring iconic solo artistry and word about Lola D. Pearl kept spreading online and in the streets.
She always says, “The journey to superstardom has had its challenges”, but nothing seems to stop this young woman in her red Victorian hat and killer heels. She stomps her way to the stars one broken heart at a time.
Growing up with Music Icons like Frank Sinatra, Tina Turner, Betty White, Diana Ross, La Bouche, 4 Non-Blondes, Alanis Morissette and early Hip-hop Artists, allowed Lola to see she just did not want to be a one-genre type of artist. Lola started with her developed Jazz/Hip-Hop style, later on crossing into many other genres of music, likewise, Dark Pop, Chill wave, Dub step, and Dance creating a scene of her own. Many today call her the new “Queen of the Night" or “Queen of Heartbreak,” because she connects to the part no one really talks about anymore “Love.” Lola D. Pearl is a new generation of music in the XXI Century, serenading audiences with her unique sultry voice one love song at a time. The very first official mixtape of Lola D. Pearl was released in 2010 (Herstory Mixtape). Later on, she produced many more; "Renegade", "Pearls&Cigs","20 years Down Lovers Lane", and "Monkey Business EP". She has performed in some of the most high in-demand Night clubs, lounges and venues in New York. Her fans anticipate her next album release of “Chapter 3: Lolita.” Blogs have written about Lola D. Pearl in regards to her new album stating “I can’t wait for the next lullaby.”
