A native San Franciscan born to parents from Nicaragua, Lola Morales grew up firmly grounded in both her Latin and American roots. Her music is a direct reflection of this vibrant combination. American jazz meets Latin soul, her unique style has made a huge impact on audiences worldwide.
A composer and guitarist, Lola MoralesÂ’ original material reveals pure emotion and uplifting energy. Singing in both English and Spanish, her sets range from stripped down and heartfelt ballads to high energy and upbeat jazz favorites that are guaranteed to entertain. Her stage show is equally as exciting and her rich, melodic vocals and powerful delivery keeps audiences glued to their seats.
Lola has toured extensively around the globe in places such as the US, Latin America, the UK and Asia. She has just returned from Beijing where she was the singer in residence at Centro - Kerry Centre. Here she performed a nightly review to a packed house of enthusiastic fans.
Between tours, Lola is busy recording her first full length jazz album entitled Simply Lola. The CD blends American jazz standards with traditional Latin classics as well as her well-penned and uniquely arranged compositions seamlessly and showcases the musical style that has won her fans around the world. Lola is excited about a new year filled with touring, song writing and future collaborations with producers, fellow songwriters and musicians.
