Bio
The name, LOLA, originates from sisters MarLO and LAuren, who have been playing instruments and writing music since their pre-teen years. Formerly known as the DJ duo North Prep, Marlo and Lauren love making music together.
From Johnny Cash to Miranda Lambert, LOLA’s music resembles the voice of country music legends, helping to craft LOLA’s outlaw country and blues sound.
LOLA’s 1st EP titled, Can’t Find You, is getting airplay on Canadian community radio and charting on !Earshot Magazine. Working on a new album called, LOLA, a three song album teaser featuring guitar and vocals is out on bandcamp now.
Recently endorsed by Godin Guitars, this sister duo writes and records songs about the lifestyle of a bandit gunslinger. LOLA’s original music can be categorized as country outlaw.
LOLA frequently performs at Relish Bar & Grill, Cloak and Dagger, The Antler Room, and The Rockpile in their hometown of Toronto, Canada. In London, England at The Spice of Life, and The Bluebird Cafe, Cafe Coco, and Bobby’s Idle Hour in Nashville, Tennessee.
