The sound Timeless ...
The attitude Fearless ...
Words such as "complex" and "soulful" only begin to describe the sound of London77.
London77's style lives in modern America walking the same streets as Lenny Kravitz, The White Stripes, and Aerosmith. Meanwhile, there is a timeless element to the sound that showcases the same attitude and musicianship bands such as Guns n' Roses, T. Rex, Billy Idol, Prince, The Sex Pistols, and The Faces brought to the forefront.
From the churning groove of "Slave to the Rhythm" to the rich, velvety vocals in "Crave" - the group constantly seeks new ways to push the limits. Their music and live shows have garnered strong critical praise. In fact, The Art Voice (Buffalo) has referred to London77 as "A band possessing a charismatic stage presence along with powerful songs." Meanwhile, rocker Jesse Malin (Solo, D Generation) describes the band as "Smooth and sexy Rock n' Roll at it's best!"
With the release of their full length album "Music for the Masses", London77 has grown both a strong writing and performance chemistry. Behind the foundation of singer Olin Monty and drummer Jimmy D'Anda (Bullet Boys, Lynch Mob) the group has embarked on tour dates throughout New York, Georgia, Florida, and California this current year. Together they have already headlined such world famous venues as the Hard Rock Café and Knitting Factory as well as playing venues in New York (Arlene's Grocery, Niagara, The Continental), Asia, and Europe (Jazz Cafe).
For music fans in search of something new and captivating, London77 offers a powerful combination of soulful vocals, deep rhythm, and rock n' roll attitude.
