London Heights was born in Miami, Florida July 14, 2009. Mixing different styles of music like Pop, Funk, and Alternative rock that come directly from our diverse cultures and tastes. The band began with Mario Molina and Andrew London writing songs and tunes. Juan Moreno and David Silva came along to contribute and create more music as a four man band. Our sound continues to amplify as the band grows. We love pleasing the world's ears with our music. Our goal is to show the world what four friends can create with talent, passion, and some musical instruments. London Heights is here to bring music back to the masses.
Andrew London was born in London, England August 12, 1988. Having both Greek and Jamaican backgrounds has given Andrew a diverse and multicultural talent. He has been singing since the age of three. “London” came to Miami in February 2002. His music preferences are rock, old school hip-hop, contemporary, jazz and blues, and classical music. Some of his musical influences include Maroon 5, Coldplay, Nickelback, Gavin Degraw, James Morrison, and many more.
Mario Molina was born in Cabaiguan, Cuba September 16, 1991. He came to Miami in 1995, growing up listening to classic rock. Mario began playing the guitar at the age of twelve. Musical influences include Billy Joel, The Beatles, John Mayer, Journey, Maroon 5, and many more.
Juan Moreno was born in Bogota, Colombia January 22, 1991. He moved to Miami in August 2000. His music preference is salsa, funk, rock, pop, reggae and classical music. Juan plays bass guitar and double bass. He has been into different musical instruments since the age of ten and has been playing the bass since he was sixteen years of age. Juan has been involved with symphonic and jazz bands along with school orchestras. His musical influences are Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorius, Bob Marley, Maroon 5, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Michael Jackson, and many more.
David Silva was also born in Bogota, Colombia October 24, 1990. He came to Miami in 1999. David has been playing drums and other percussion instruments since the age of twelve. His music preference is any type of rock. Musical influences are As I Lay Dying, Atreyu, Incubus, Dredg, and many more.
