Bio

Lonesome Jim presents an original solo show in the acoustic folk/blues/roots" tradition.

He began his professional music career in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada with "Tony George and The Imperials", and later with "The Jekylls and the Hydes", playing throughout eastern Canada, including shows with "Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs", "The Shadows of Knight", "Bo Diddly", "Dutch Mason", and many others.

During the years that followed, he fronted 3 piece rockin' blues bands in New Brunswick (Jellyroll)&,(Buzzoff),  in Montreal and Quebec City (The Magic Tangerine Toilet); in the Northwest Territories(Jellyroll)& (The Red Devil Rockin' Blues Band),  as well as having gigged and jammed in New York (USA), Beijing (China) and London (England). Most recently, in addition to pursuing his solo show, he has shared the stage with Atlantic Canada musicians including Matt Anderson, John Campbelljohn, Isaac and Blewett, The Downtown Blues Band, Hot Toddy, The George Street BluesBand, and Tracy and the Hurtin' Hearts.

In the fall of 2010 he launched his solo "Lonesome Jim" show, including appearances on the acoustic stage at "The Fredericton Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival", the main stage of "The Dooryard Arts Festival, and fifty additional club, bar, and concert appearances.

His current show features unique originals and a balanced mix of traditional acoustic style blues, rhythm and blues, harmonica blues, rock 'n roll and folk/roots selections.
