LONGDRIVE...
LONGDRIVE: Proper noun, distinguishing a musical band consisting of five members forming in october 2000. Nosolgic Lyrics combining positive and negative sentimental values, the band is recognized for their lyrics and catchy tunes.
Originally made up of two members, the ROCK'N'ROLL band has evolved to a five member band during it's three year existence. Highly respected in eastern canada, these five ROCKERS have paved their way billing with names like Simple Plan, Treble Charger, Bigwig and many other bands.
Even with many changes in their style since it's conception, LONGDRIVE, has kept a great repore between its band members, wich creates an incredible dynasim in their music and on stage. Born in the late 70's early 80's, Scott, Frank, Pat, Marc, and David jammed to Guns and Roses, Metallica and Green Day while growing up, giving these five an awareness in the evolution of today's music, wich gives them a rock, enco, sound coupled with the energy of punk.
February 2002, LONGDRIVE recorded their first 3 songs demo tape. touring promoter, Eric Young heard it, liked it, and starded to give the band couple of nice eastern canada gig's.Then, after playing with Simple Plan in their hometown, Simple Plan's guitar player Jeff Stinco introduce LONGDRIVE to Jay lefebvre, well known producer from montreal.
January 2003, LONGDRIVE recorded their second 3 songs demo tape giving them hope of making a top name in eastern Canada and the ROCK music world.
