You finally found us!!
Long Lost Friend formed when Singer/Songwriter Kristen Long needed a friend most. She had just left an abusive marriage...so naturally she turned to music. As a Berklee College of Music graduate, she new that music is the Long Lost Friend that can always be counted on. Pretty soon, she met "Salt Shaker" Walt Brewer, when his former band, The Dead Valentines, needed a fill in singer for a gig. Their styles fused so perfectly together, they new it was a match. It felt like coming home to find a Long Lost Friend waiting for you. Kristen and "Salty" formed a duo, performing all over South Florida, and then taking it on the road as far as Montana and New England. When in Boston, they met Timmi Gammon and Stephen Eshner, while playing in the pit band for "Oliver". The musical connection could not be denied...again that feeling of finding a Long Lost Friend was there and it was decided, they would form a quartet. The band now resides in Gulf Shores, AL for the summer season and looks forward to taking things on the road very soon.
