Bio

Long Road South are so good we advise discretion, listening can cause an ear orgasam. Say hello to New Zealands finest creative talent Long Road South. This super group reside in Northland NZ and are a collaboration of many talents, the main mastermind being Jonny Karklins. Jonny Karklins is an immortal from Latvia who has used his good looks, amazing swordsmanship and extraoridnary musical ability to propell himself through hundreds of years of success dating all the way back to the dark ages. Originally royalty, he left the motherland during the roman crusades, for fear of being witch hunted. He has played a big part throughout music history while managing to remain hidden from the larger world. Like Jonny K says "I pretty much invented every genre there is" "I was the one who told Ray Charles to borrow Gospel, I coached Elvis, I served with Johnny Cash, I taught James Brown how to get back on the good foot, but my personal favourtie was encouraging Kool Herc to Loop a record live, he didn't want to do it but with a little encouragement I managed to single handedly invent Hip Hop". 'Chasing The Sun'. Is the First single under the name Long Road South. Written By Jonny K, feat Chris K. Have a listen but be warned this song will make you want to get naked. Described by Rolling Stone as a feel good hit for the summer. Chris says "It's a song to drink beer too" In keeping with Latvian tradition Jonny K has a slave and he returns this time around under the name Dubsie PR "the publicity machine". He says "would people please listen to these songs or he will be chained and whipped". Dubsie PR says check out the next single Catch 22 it's catchy. Also keep a nose out for the video shot on location in Mexico and Mars. If you have any queries or would like to challenge Jonny K to a duel. Please contact Dubsie PR at 0064 0273113326. Or e-mail longroadmusic@gmail.com peace and chicken grease.
