"Female duo harness the evil powers of rock 'n' roll"

If you're going to write songs that largely sound like pschotic revenge ditties, its best to deliver them with a sneer and some golden tonsils. Brighton's Teasing LuLu (sic) know this and Black Summer travels at quite a lick, subbing variation for sultry self-righteousness.

At times, they distantly resemble early Garbage, with the band at their most punk rock and Shirley Manson at her most wicked. A love of the Dead Kennedys never hurt anyone either, and while they're hardly satirists, it's pleasing to hear the odd strangulated riff popping out like one of Medusa's dreadlocks auto asphyxiating itself. A feel good, twisted hit for the summer.

"Exciting UK Electro Glam artist, Looceedee"

"Former Teasing Lulu starlet Lucy Dalton recently moved to Berlin to kick-ass on a solo tip. Now known simply as Looceedee she provocatively mashes up bass-heavy electro with gutsy punk pop and creates a vibrant, seductive stage-show that'll leave you drooling for more."
