Bio

In a town with nothing but food and booze, Andrew Goforth(vocals, rhythm guitar), Sam Grim(lead guitar), Keith Weisser(bass), and Dustin Ward(drums) came together in York, PA, during the summer of 2003, to make music that related to the common person. This was the start of Lookout Point. They spent the first summer writing their songs and quickly discovered a sound truly their own. They quickly set out playing shows wherever they could for any amount of money and sometimes even for free.
They continued playing local bars, fire halls, colleges, and wherever else would accept them, and they kept their fan base growing. The next summer, they met with producer Jason Rubal to record five songs for their self financed E.P., “What Could Have Been”. They recorded in Cue Studios, in Falls Church VA, and at Seventh Wave Studios, in Harrisburg, PA.
Recording their music and working with Jason only solidified their sound. Something new was on the rise from the simple town of York, PA. After writing a few more songs they hit the road again playing shows in MD, NJ, and their home state of PA. They were well received everywhere they went and things continued to go well.
In the spring of 2005, Lookout Point and bassist Keith Weisser went their separate ways. Lookout Point then added Pete Baker at bass, and spent a month off working on all their material with the new bassist. The change was needed, for Pete brought more talent and better chemistry to the band.
Lookout Point is a melodic rock band who strives for perfection in every aspect of their music, from performance to writing. They play hard live, and work harder than almost any other band. Their sound is amazing both recorded and live and they plan on bringing it to everyone, everywhere.
