'Our march to April'
Debut Album Releasing
Winter 08

Over the past year, Abilene,Texas based alternative worship band LOOKTOTHESKY has seen much change. From member changes to the anticipated release of their debut album...'Our march to April' LOOKTOTHESKY has embraced the different seasons of adjustment that God has brought their way. 'We have seen our band/ministry take off in a blessed way.' says bassist Landry Meeks 'To see the vision God gives your group come to life is just awesome. It's humbling to see Him bring everything full circle.'

With their energy-charged debut album 'Our march to April', LOOKTOTHESKY has embraced the idea of change as they seek to push the definition of worship with their emotionally saturated album. In 'Our march to April' LOOKTOTHESKY successfully drives the limits of worship with realistic lyrics that seek to ignite the heart of believers with the heart of God. 'As a worship band we want to open the doors of creativity in worship to God.' says lead singer Jordan Osborn. 'With this record we feel we have done that. Our whole pursuit is to bring energy and creativity to the genre of worship music.' With a modern alternative sound LOOKTOTHESKY hopes that believers of all ages can worship with the band, singing songs that are direct cries of their hearts to the throne of God.

Having formed initially in the summer of 2006, the band has accomplished much in a matter of little more than a year. The past year of 2007 has been an incredibly busy year for the guys from LOOKTOTHESKY. With an opening slot on BGCT's YEC FX stage (the event consisted of Shane and Shane, Kutless, and The Afters), and BGCT's Annual Convention, the band has seen more doors open as they played at the 2007 Youth Outdoor Festival with major label artist By The Tree, RUNKIDRUN, The Turning, and Jeff Johnson,as well as leading worship at the 2007 New Mexico Assemblies of God Youth Convention, working with Teen Unite and tour dates with The Myriad, Everyday Sunday, A Road Less Traveled,Crimson Soul, Eowyn and others. Along side playing big conference events, LOOKTOTHESKY continues to play youth rallies, camps, DNOWs, concerts, and are passionate about playing events that give access to students. 'This isn't about playing cool music. This is so much more than that. Its about building relationships with students and investing in lives with the love of Christ.' says singer Jordan Osborn.

With their debut album coming in the Winter of 2008 and a tour to follow, LOOKTOTHESKY is excited at the
changing seasons in their band and ministry, and the direction God is taking them. Be looking for the band
