Notes on the Demo songs....
1. "GRAY"...what I think when I think of God. “ I surely hope, he’s got a sense of humor”. Nobody’s ALL good or ALL evil, “ it’s never black or white”. (has one of my favorite licks)
2. "DICK BACON"... Mr. Dick Bacon (R.I.P.) was a Milwaukee Institution! He would set up his “cardboard shield wrapped in Reynolds wrap”… “all year long...in the sun”. I would see him out tanning in his little cardboard circle on a February day with minus 40-degree wind chills. He was always “ down at Bradford beach, with a... a tan out of reach” (see our website for the whole DB thing)… Music was inspired by the Meat Puppets.
3. "TOO HAPPY"... one of our oldest tunes (late 80’s) Someone too happy is a scary thing. Too pissed off or whatever is one thing, being too happy is suspect. Todd’s’ bout with his landlord is recalled “they tell me no live music allowed , cause we’re playing it much too loud “
