Looshuss

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Which means, I was surrounded by music my whole life. Picked up a guitar at age 13 and was obsessed with Stevie Ray Vaughan. I wanted to be SRV! So, I played guitar and sang in different Rock/Blues bands in high school. After graduating I put down the guitar and went to Texas State University for a couple of years, just to drop out and pursue music. I then went to Media Tech to learn about music from the production/recording side of things. Throughout this time my musical tastes expanded. I was listening to anything and everything. Which ended up making it very difficult for me to pick which musical direction to pursue! I had what you call "musical ADD".. I wanted to do it all! Then I went to my first electronic show (Ghostland Observatory- also from Austin) and that was it for me. The end. The energy at electronic shows was what I was looking for and just didn't know it. So I set out to make a record.. and Looshuss is what happened. Using my little home studio set up, I wrote, recorded, and produced everything in 2 1/2 years. Putting my blood, sweat, and tears into it. Lets just say I was glad to finally finish it.. Hope you enjoy!
