Having grown up with his various family members’ collection of Latin, Hip-Hop, Motown and Dance music, Lopez Island has been influenced by an erratic, versatile rhythm. Letting the vibe of music travel and connect himself to the atmosphere, Lopez Island combines the best of all of his worlds in his work to compose a beautiful, told tale.
Lopez has been in the DJ game for 8+ years and has performed at various open format events/venues in the tristate area; ranging from bars/clubs to large sports events and weddings. Over the past couple years, Lopez Island wanted more. He wanted to play the House, Tribal and Latin rhythms he couldn’t play at his events so he started collaborating, supporting and creating.
Hard work pays off! Lopez is now a resident DJ at The Hadley in Philadelphia and makes appearances at popular venues around the city such as Live! Casino, NOTO, Vesper, Brasil's, the Moshulu, and many more!
