Lord Luken deliver melodic and sincere harmonies that are as raw as you would expect from small town Scottish lads. Hailing from Montrose, Scotland, the Barbour brothers gigged around East/north London for a few years and have now settled down in Dundee, after taking a short stop over in Thailand. Playing an eclectic mix of acoustic indie - laced with folk, brothers Nick and Martin have an energy on and off stage that gives warmth and charisma to their music. Their melodic two part harmonies reflect life in a small Scottish sound but still echo the intensity of living in East London. Cutting their teeth in their home town, the boys built up a following with gritty real-life tales and are now impressing London and Dundee punters with their scrutiny of life in the big city. Nick's raw vocals and poppy guitar backed up by Martins textured acoustics make for a lively show - a definite must see for any live music lover. Our local is The Dog House were we hang out and often play there. We Also promote a night once a month called Earcandy! We play along with other new talent / comedy and DJ's.
