Lovingly referred to as “This Generation’s Luther Vandross”, Smith is well respected for his piano skills, as well as his ability to leave an audience breathless as he showcases extraordinary vocal talent with flawless improvisational skills. Having been the featured soloist and guest artist on several recordings for various professional Theatres, Gospel Artists, Recording Studios, Universities, and Production Studios, Smith has also traveled the United States as well as Canada and Fiji performing hundreds of concerts. Since the 2004 release of his debut CD, Loren has been touring full time.
As an accomplished vocalist and vocal coach in Gospel, Contemporary Christian, R & B, Jazz, and Classical music, a worship consultant, Loren has been blessed to share the stage and sing backups for such greats as BeBe Winans, Tommy Walker and Donald Lawrence, as well as be a headliner at the Troubadour in Hollywood, B.B. Kings in Universal City, and at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 Special Olympics Games.
