Lorenzo Piani

He was born in the Abruzzi region, but his family moved to the Romagna region when he was only nine months old. There, in the city of Rimini where he currently lives, he started playing the piano when he was six. He always cultivated his passion for music. After graduating from high school and from the Conservatory, he started his artistic activity as singer and keyboardist for several groups and, later on, as a soloist. When he was eighteen he published his first single with the Italian EMI. Immediately afterwards he moved to Northern Europe looking for new artistic dimensions and landed in Denmark, where he spent the next five years. There he worked as a session artist in several prestigious studios in Copenhagen and played with pop groups. Thanks to the experience gathered abroad, when he returned to Italy, RICORDI released his first album, SOGNATORI ERRANTI, recorded together with many great Italian musicians. Later on, he worked with several prominent Italian producers while collecting new ideas. After the single IL TRENO, in 1998 RTI Music published his second album, VIVO. On this album Morris Albert worked with him on the Italian version of FEELINGS, which became VIVO with Lorenzo’s words. In 2008 he published a new album "Sorpresi dal Vento" feat. Brian Auger, presented more times on italian broadcast tv RaiUNO
