"InReview's Weekly Picks"

"LoriAnn Feeley has a voice that is bluesy yet hip. A look that is earthy yet chic. A demeanor that is bubbly yet confident. And she's a babe to boot. All to say that Miss Feeley alone will make this show worth the price of admission." - Nashville Scene

"LoriAnn's New Album"

DJ Kahlua of Your Radio! in South Florida says,
"I have the pleasure to broadcast music by many independent recording artists on Your Radio! urradio.com. Our listeners' response has been fabulous, but since we debuted LoriAnn's CD, "This Town," the feedback has been through the roof! Her voice reaches deep inside you with each note she sings. It is rich and full, sometimes breathy and poetic. You will feel her words and find yourself inside the portraits she paints with her voice and her lyrics. LoriAnn is one of the few independent artists out right now who will be included in everbody's classic music collections of the future." - DJ Kahlua of www.urradio.com

Bio

One of LoriAnn's original songs, "Mama's Song," was most recently selected, to be included on a Clear Channel compilation CD. The CD will benefit "The Ripple Effect Social Programs for the Homeless," and will also be sent to Billboard, Spin, and various other trade publications and radio stations. LoriAnn performed along with the other nine artists selected for the CD, at the Walt Disney World Amphitheatre in Orlando, Florida.

If you were watching this 5'1 petite young lady sing, at times you might think she was almost lip-syncing. Her extraordinarily powerful voice belies her diminutive stature, with a contagious smile that captivates every person in the audience. She is a contemporary singer/songwriter who draws you in to her own little world, the minute she hits her first note.

She is a self-proclaimed mutt (half-southern and half-northern). "My mother is from Tifton, GA and my father is from Rye, NY. I was raised like a southern child in the heart of NY." Now why in the world would she ever be a little confused? All I can say is from all of that confusion, she has been able to clearly create a perfect blend of pop, classic rock, and hip country music music that is uniquely universal.

If you had asked LoriAnn ten years ago where she would be in the next ten years, St. Augustine, FL would have been an extremely unlikely option. An unlikely choice, which has turned Northern Florida oddly enough into a home away from home. In an almost Jimmy Buffet-like fashion, LoriAnn has gained an eclectic fan-base not only for her commercial songwriting and phenomenal voice, but almost equally for that "it" factor that you just can't seem to put your finger on. You might not be able to put your finger on it, but if you see her live you'll get "it!" She has a unique aura that engages an audience ranging from 4-year-olds to 97-year-olds.

LoriAnn is also no stranger to the Nashville music scene, where she headlined the band Sugar Shack, as lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter. She has also been a featured writer at the world-famous Bluebird Cafe, as well as many other well-known venues. Most recently, she competed in the "Nashville Star" television show auditions for the USA Network. She made it into the Top 43 out of 50,000 people from all over the world. LoriAnn also won the title of "Favorite New Female Vocalist" twice on www.newcountrystar.com and is now a featured indie artist on www.urradio.com and many other internet radio stations!

She has been working with producer Charlie Craig in Nashville, TN, on her new album, which is set for release the fall of 2006. "I'm really excited about this album, because it really defines who I am as an artist.
I've worked really hard to get all of my pieces in place, and now I'm just patiently waiting for that "bit of luck," where preparation meets opportunity!"
