Bio
Lori Grigsby has been singing since childhood. She got her first guitar at the age of sixteen and began writing songs and playing at the local college coffeehouse in Blacksburg, Va. Since then, she has played a variety of venues ranging from coffeehouses and clubs to benefits and festivals, and she has opened for a number of nationally known acts including Mark Isham, Michael Hedges, SONiA, and Tret Fure. She has composed music for television and has been involved in a number of musical collaborations that run the gamut stylistically from rock to new wave and performance art. She has participated in several showcases sponsored by the Songwriters Association of Washington, and was selected to play the Maryland Stage at the Susquehanna Music & Arts Festival in May 2007. Her acoustic self-titled CD was released in 2004, and she hopes to release another CD this summer. Sandy joined Lori on harmonies in 2006 and the response has been overwhelming. Their chemistry on stage is dynamic and their harmonies have been described as "haunting."
