Over 18 years maintaining a very distinctive style that has its foundations in Jamaican music of the 60s makes Los Elefantes one of the most legendary bands of Colombian music. Their career includes three records (LP), participation in collective works of the genre in Europe, a fourth production that will be released in the first semester of this year and three videos that have circulated on the main music channels in America.
Los Elefantes are characterized by their melodies and very well structured musical arrangements that mix shamelessly with acid and urban lyrics. In each song there is a small radiography of life in Bogot (Colombia). Without getting into political issues or socio-cultural criticism, Los Elefantes lead us through strong musical shockwaves that are impossible to ignore, as well as through honest and brash songs of love and grief.
It's a band that despite having a universal sound, has kept true to its principles and convictions, never yielding to commercial trends. This has made it possible for the group to stay strong in the path of the underground and their work object of cult.
