"Los Bad Apples"

"There may be no group in Austin right now as suave, sultry, and infectiously grooving as Los Bad Apples. Smooth R&B and Hip-Hop with Jazz and Latin influences and hard driving dance beats. While the Black Eyed Peas are an inevitable point of comparison, as much for LBA’s diversity as their sound, the group’s eclectic vibe feels like a distinctly Austin hybrid, and their backgrounds from classically trained Bossa Nova and Jazz, to streetwise rhymes, to Latin pop all come to bear on their recently released, eponymous debut album. Los Bad Apples have already started garnering international acclaim, and have some exciting upcoming collaborations in the works that will likely be bringing them much more attention - Austin Sound

"Hip hop stylings, Spanish pulses, and Latin guitar pave the way for Anita Benner's pipes to make the Los Bad Apples songs singular."

"Middle East Tour"

Los Bad Apples featuring DJ Chicken George will bring its high-energy blend of Latin hip-hop to U.S. military bases in Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and UAE, February 5-22. The group's distinctive sound is a sultry mix of hip-hop, reggaeton, cumbia, samba, flamenco, bossa nova and salsa. - Armed Forces Entertainment

"Letter from three-time Grammy Award-winner"

You guys really have something cookin' an a' brewin'.. The guitarist is the best one I've heard in a long time! The horns were on point and you know I LOVE Aldo. He's MY bass player. Chali 2na really digs Zeale´s flow and what he says - thats a big deal. Chali NEVER says stuff like that about other MC's!

Blessings,
Asdru

Bio

Los Bad Apples (abbr. LBA)
Austin, TX - Formed in 2007, this high energy band crosses over many styles and genres into Hip-Hop, Rock, Folk, Funk, Latin and Pop. Los Bad Apples was named Austin's 2010's band to look out for and 2009’s “South by Southwest Buzz Band” by the Austin Chronicle. Their high-energy performances and unique sound earned them a spot opening for Grammy Award Winner Ludacris and chart-topper Duffy at a private SXSW showcase. It was at a show in February 2009 that recruiters from Armed Forces Entertainment invited them to take that energy overseas on their Middle East Tour which included stops in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, and Rome.

This diverse group has also opened for Grammy-winners Ozomatli, Oscar D’Leon, Me’Shell Ndegeocello and Lil Wayne. They’ve appeared on various radio and television programs including NPR, FOX, Univision and ME Television. They unveiled their debut music video, Don't Stop – Muevelo on the 4th of July and in its first 3 months it ranked in the Top 5 Latin videos on Blastro.com. It has since ranked in the Top 5 Hip-Hop and Top 5 Latin videos on Famecast.com.
