Los Chili Martillos is the Lone Star States premier Tejano "Ambient music" artist.
The word "ambient" is used to describe music that creates an atmosphere that puts the listener into a different state of mind. Brian Eno is generally credited with coining the term "ambient music" in the mid 70s to refer to music that, can be either "actively listened to with attention or as easily ignored, depending on the choice of the listener."
By incorporating Hard Rock, Afro Cuban, Psychedelic, Chill, and Electronica music influences Los Chili Martillos have taken "Ambient music" to a new level.
