Los Disidentes Del Sucio Motel made more than 200 gigs over Europe for 6 years. We released an EP in 2006 entitled “Room 159”, a single vinyl in 2007, had a song on the French Metal 5 compilation and released a DVD about our tour in 2008.
We opened for famous bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Ufomammut, Tokyo Sex Destruction , Karma To Burn, Valient Thorr and Red Fang, participated in many festivals like Lez’Arts Sceniques, Desertfest, Hellfest and Eurockéennes de Belfort.
Moreover, we played on well-kown stages like La Laiterie, Le Grillen, Le Noumatrouff or La Cigale in Paris.
Our first album “Soundtrack From the Motion Picture” was released in May 2010 on the French label “Deadlight Entertainment” (Undercover Slut…) with French and European distribution by Underclass.
The visual aspect of the band is mainly inspired by the Tarantino & Rodriguez movies, and all the B series movies : the Californian desert, hot chicks, the police, the serial killers, the good, the bad, the ugly, …LDDSM are a concept band in which each member plays a character in a brotherhood of musicians. They are being sought by the police for crimes they didn’t commit. A whole mythology has been created, based on this concept and each song illustrates a new adventure of the band. On stage, it is a huge storm of heavy sound with influences like Queens Of
The Stone Age, Kyuss, Danko Jones, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Fu Manchu or Motörhead…5 musicians who play intensely a loud stoner music, under the dreadful look of a ruthless sheriff who enforces the law.
The band has just finished recording its second album, coming by the end of 2012.
