Los Dos and the New American Ramblers, Los Dos and the New American Ramblers (Self-released). The boys in Man Alive! have traded their punk-rock boots for some shitkickers and drawn on bluesy, grassroots influences to produce this mature three-song demo. It's down-tempo folk wrapped in an Old West charm that surely rivals any of those hipster hippies in San Francisco. Lo-fi never sounded so good. -- Nguyen - Westword

Bio
Los Dos & The New American Ramblers began as an acoustic duo featuring Charles Von Rosenberg and Mike Neff playing a repertoire of folk, classic country and blues covers, as well as originals. The duo performed at crossroads and confluences during breaks in world travelling. The band eventually grew in size and acclaim, adding and subtracting members as time went along, settling on the ideal lineup of musicians to record their first full length in 2006-2007. The band shows a rich variety of influence, from Woody Guthrie to Mississippi Fred MacDowell, Rolling Stones to Bob Wills, Neil Young, Fela Kuti and Townes Van Zandt. What makes us different is the passion and integrity for pure honest music, no trends, fads or gimmicks.
