This project starts 3 years ago when Diego Solorzano stops being a Dj, and starts a rock band called Los Dynamite.
Los Dynamite is a Mexican band that has found a particular sound that was quite rare in Mexico their influences come from bands like Happy Mondays, Daft Punk, The Velvet Underground, Rod Stewart among others. Their life on stage is quite short but they have gained a big amount of followers even though they haven’t released their album yet. Their first live show, on July of 2005 was a complete SOLD OUT, quite rare for a New Mexican band. They are signed with the independent Record Label Noiselab (www.noiselab.com), and their LP will be released by the beginning of June 2006 produced by Paco Huidobro from Fobia. They are leading the growing indie scene in Mexico and have shared stage with bands like: Interpol (opening act for the Mexican Tour), AudioBullys, Stellastar,The Stills, The Kills, The Juan Mclean, The Faint, Dirty Pretty Things, The Secret machines, etc.
T.V. their first single was used for a Latinamerican campaign for the mobile company TELCEL. This single also, was charted as TOP 9 in the 105 singles for 2005 on the most important indie-radio station in Mexico (REACTOR 105.7), TOP 1 for two months in ibero 909 radiostation and also TOP 1 in the same station with their second single KATATONIC.The Rolling Stone magazine charted them as TOP 3 in the best new bands of 2005. The band is now in the studio and plans a national tour on the second semester of 2006.
