"LoserPhace White Rabbit Review"

I saw LoserPhace perform last night at The White Rabbit. Seeing many of the guy's shows in the past, this was their best one by far. Walking around during their performance, I was finding myself amongst a near full house. People from the other room of the venue were coming in to hear the guys, instead of the band they origianlly came to see.

Thier CD's were being sold, and flyers were being passed out for an upcoming show. Everyone at the venue stayed until their set list was over, and looked very pleased at the guys new material.

After the show, the booking agent for the band confronted the guys and told them how well they did, and that he was hoping to book them on the main stage -where only the best bands get to perform-very soon in November. But this is no suprise to any of the loyal LoserPhace fans who I see at nearly every show.

New fans were being made, and the word of LoserPhace was spread last night more so then ever before. The show was a high energy, full-of-excitemnet, whirlwind of an experience. Cant wait for the next show! - K. Funk Photography (Katie Funk)

LoserPhace!
The Biography

The band:

Formed in March of 2008, the band LoserPhace weaves punk rock beats with crafty, catchy lyrics. Brought together by the common influence of Blink-182, the boys of LoserPhace consist of Eric Rosenberg (guitar/vocals), Kyle Gress (bass/vocals), and Landis Chisenhall (drums).

The Early Years:

Eric and Kyle met for the first time at Smithson Valley High School in 2005. They soon formed a band, Anything Plain, with another drummer. After a few local shows, the band broke up due to life’s hectic schedule. This mishap however did not stop Eric and Kyle from their musical passion. Forming a small acoustic band in 2007, Beverly Kills, Eric and Kyle performed old Green Day, Blink-182, and some of their own original songs. But just like Anything Plain, Beverly Kills slowly faded away. Eric and Kyle knew they wanted a true band but struggled to find that missing component that only a drummer could fill. After searching through endless websites, online ads, and phone calls, Landis Chisenhall responded to one of Eric’s e-mails. During their first practice together, Eric and Kyle knew they had completed their band’s circle. Landis was just what they needed, and formed an instant connection with the guys. The name LoserPhace was given to the new band without hesitation, and soon after their musical journey began.

The Music:

LoserPhace started off by covering Blink-182 songs, but within a few short weeks the band began perfecting their own originals. Instant favorites such as Heading Home, Something Profound, Leotard, Worries, and September 17th, were sure to be on the set list at each show. The band got their first gig at a birthday party, which wasn’t anything big, but they got their music out to a new crowd and gained the confidence it would take to book bigger and better shows. More gigs followed, new fans were made, and new material was written. Their first demo, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Longer, was completed in September of 2008, and included the tracks Heading Home, Leotard, and Worries.
