Biography

Losers’ Reunion

An eclectic band of brothers, friends, and rivals that have taken elements from the mid-late 90’s southern alt/rock scene of their youth and fused them with the modern styles of rock, alternative, indie, and metal to create a unique sound that will strike a chord with its listeners.

Having a solid rhythm section for foundation, atmospheric, overdrive guitar melodies, dramatic choruses, and a brooding, angst-ridden singer, LR will be influencing rock for years to come.

It’s about loss. It’s about pain. And it’s about the pride and contentment we get when we overcome the things that stand in our way. We’ve all had those moments when we've stuck our foot in our mouth...when we're not the coolest person in the room....welcome to the reunion...

Sleepliving

Written By: Losers' Reunion

A house divided, must surely fall
And now he’s standing, he’s not so tall, but anyway
He keeps on moving, one more step
He keeps on driving until there’s nothing left,
There’s nothing left to lose

How funny pride is, when you’re insecure
She’s in that white dress, she’s not so sure, but anyway
She keeps on moving, down the aisle
She keeps pretending, until there’s no more smiles
There’s no more smiles to fake

Sleepwalking and they’re
Sleep talking and they’re
Sleepliving but it’s all forgiven in the end

It’s so exciting, they’re all around
He’s made it nine years, through ups and downs, but anyway
He keeps on moving, from place to place
He keeps on roaming, until the whole world knows
The whole world knows his face

Sleepwalking and they’re
Sleep talking and they’re
Sleepliving but it’s all forgiven in the end

I guess it’s time we wake up

Sleepwalking, and we’re
Sleep talking and we’re
Sleepliving but it’s all forgiven in the end

Sleepwalking, and we’re
Sleep talking and we’re
Sleepliving but it’s time we wake up

Breaking the Silence

Written By: Losers' Reunion

Breaking the silence, making the best of this
Everyone knows the story, but no one knows the end
Breaking the silence, but we will not bring up the past
Willing to take a new direction, so here is an olive branch

Now I can scream at the top of my lungs
Now I can shout from the rooftops
And know the echo coming back is
Know the echo coming back is you

We were both shy once, so wrapped up in ourselves
Only sure of one thing, that we all need a friend
We were both shy once, when second thoughts would take first place
Wishing to close my eyes for one night, and not have to see your face

Now I can scream at the top of my lungs
Now I can shout from the rooftops
And know the echo coming back is
Know the echo coming back is you

The silence is gone

Nobody Listening

Written By: Losers' Reunion

Your crooked smile, has got me caught up again
Makes me feel dizzy inside
And I’d crawl a mile, to feel you right next to me
But your smell still haunts me tonight
I say I’m free, but I’m still imprisoned
By a remembered look in your eyes
What’s wrong with me?
Stay out ‘til the pain goes away
Or the sun starts to rise

And I’m so cold, alone
Your blanket’s not warm anymore
So I’ll go home, alone
I cry out for help, but there’s nobody listening

Check just to see, no missed calls or messages
‘Cause nobody loves me today
Hard to believe, your recriminations
They left me with nothing to say
What made you think, that I wouldn’t recollect
Watching him walk out your door?
When I couldn’t breathe
So why are you surprised
That I don’t want you anymore?

But I’m so cold, alone
Your blanket’s not warm anymore
So I’ll go home, alone
I cry out for help, but there’s nobody listening

I can’t take this burden that you’ve placed upon me
And I won’t fake this love for one more day

Understand

Written By: Losers' Reunion

One more stroll through your garden
Of complicated explanations
We circled ‘round the marigolds too long
We fought too much, and thought too much
The fruit is turning bittersweet
Our movie’s going black and white
You say there’s still a chance, and I agree
I agree, I agree

But I refuse to rebuild this house of cards
This castle’s falling down around my ears
I know that we were special, but that was years ago
And I’m so tired of doing all the work
Can you understand that?

One more word to set me off
My point just never comes across
Feeling like a dinosaur again
I’m out of touch, so out of touch
I wish we could communicate
Like once for yes, and twice for maybe
They say this too shall pass, just let it go
Let it go, let it go

But I refuse to right this sinking ship
As the water ‘round my ankles starts to rise
I wonder when I’ll look into your eyes again
But I’m so tired of bailing us out
Can you understand that?

One more dance in the sand
‘Cause nothing ever goes to plan
Feeling like an extra in this film
I’m not the star, I’m not the star
You want me to come out and play
Truth is I’m not feeling well
Just take this medicine and drink it down
Drink it down, drink it down

But I refuse to mend this broken heart
So send the paramedics on their way
If I could only find the words to say again
But I’m so tired of speaking all the words
Can you understand that?

Castles crumble, ships they sink
Sprinters stumble, and hearts will break
No more trouble, but I will try again
I’ll try if you will
Can you understand me?
Can you understand you?
Can you understand any of this?
I really need you to…

Class Dismissed

Written By: Losers' Reunion

You wash over me with a flood of emotion
And the next thing I know, you’ve left me high and dry
Well I can’t understand why you do this to me
But the truth I’ve realized is that I do this to myself

We go ‘round and ‘round in circles
Really going nowhere
You’ll never see the world like me
With blinders on, so

I want to educate you
I want to liberate your mind
If you see your way through to the end
I will be there waiting patiently

You press in on me…you’re a scarf that’s too tight
And before I turn blue, you’ve already made your escape
Well I can’t count the times that we’ve played this scene out
But the truth I’ve realized is that I’m making the most mistakes

We go ‘round and ‘round in circles
It’s making me dizzy
You’ll never see the world like me
With blinders on, so

I want to educate you
I want to liberate your mind
If you see your way through to the end
I will be there waiting patiently

Falling Down

Written By: Losers' Reunion

It all comes down to this moment
The ones before, they don’t mean anything
And my possessions are all stolen
But right before me now stands everything
So I open up my eyes
Feel the wind in my face as I look down from this ledge
And to everyone’s surprise
Took one last deep breath and my first step off the edge

Now I’m falling down
And I feel more alive than I ever have
I scream without a sound
Because my voice just can’t explain
As I drift toward the ground
I am not afraid anymore
Because now I’m falling down
But I know you’ll catch me in the end

When you ask me for forgiveness
I’ll tell you there is nothing to forgive
Your love was my only weakness
But confrontation’s not the way I live
So I put my heart away
I hid it in the darkest place that I could find
But you ripped my plans apart
Shined your light on me and left my fears behind

Now I’m falling down
And I feel more alive than I ever have
I scream without a sound
Because my voice just can’t explain
As I drift toward the ground
I am not afraid anymore
Because now I’m falling down
But I know you’ll catch me in the end

The Way Back Home

Written By: Losers' Reunion

If all you have to say is “what are you talking ‘bout”
There’s no point in trying
To make this square peg fit
If all you want to do is pull the keystone out
There’s no point in lying to myself

Yeah I need this tonight
No I won’t surrender yet
Sometimes the heart gone cold
Is still the warmest
Yeah I need this tonight
No I won’t surrender yet
Sometimes the way back home
Is still the hardest

So tired of misdirection
A fork in the road
I’ll take the one less traveled
And hope you’ll follow me

Yeah I need this tonight
No I won’t surrender yet
Sometimes the heart gone cold
Is still the warmest
Yeah I need this tonight
No I won’t surrender yet
Sometimes the way back home
Is still the hardest
