"Steppin' Out Festival"

We would like to thank Los Gatos for a wonderful performance at Steppin Out this year. Los Gatos had the audience at Steppin’ Out 2004 in Blacksburg, Virginia moving their feet so fast, smoke was rising from the street! This four piece group consists of some of the finest musicians Southwestern Virginia has to offer. Los Gatos’ superb blend of traditional jazz with scorching Latin influences makes this group stand above the rest. We certainly look forward to working with this exceptionally outstanding group in the future!

Sincerely,

DLP Concerts

"Latino Festival"

Los Gatos is a group of very talented musicians that play various types of Afro-Cuban and Fusion-Latin style rhythms. They have been very instrumental in the introduction of Latin music to our region and have been very well received by all the audiences that have had the pleasure of hearing them perform.
They have also been very gracious in donating two superb performances at the Roanoke Latin Festival and as well for the annual Local Colors International Festival. They were one of the most popular bands by popular votes on both of these occasions.
As Director of the Latin Community Center of Roanoke and as the General Coordinator of the Roanoke Latin Festival, I highly recommend this brilliant and gifted musical group. - -

"School Education Program"

As a science teacher that overs the unit of Sound, I thought the
performance and instruction the group offered was excellent.  The
information offered a great supplement to the students' understanding of
sound instrumentation, an important topic in covering 5th grade VA SOL
material.  Also, it was thoroughly enjoyable to listen to the music, and
they were eager to have the students involved as participants.
