"Los Mesoneros"

LOS MESONEROS is a rock band born in Venezuela that seduces with its lyrics, sets them apart due to their style and a dazzling image. It is formed by five young people united by a common passion: making music, the quintet is the sum of talent and charisma of Luis Jimenez (guitar and lead vocal), Andrew Belloso (bass), Andrew Sucre (drums), Juan Ignacio Sucre (lead guitar and vocal) and Carlos Sardi (keyboards).

They perform as a band since 2006; LOS MESONEROS have become the center of public attention, media and producing shows due to their maturity and power of their songs and a scenic domain that many would envy. Their music is the result of the merger of the guitars, bass and drums with synthesizers under a youth perspective.

They made their debut in radio stations with “No puedes ver” (You can’t see), a single that was the appetizer for their EP and paved the way for the good rock served by LOS MESONEROS in the musical scenery. To add, they have performed in more than a hundred concerts and were selected to represent the Venezuelan talent as the concert prelude to major international groups as Zoe, Simple Plan, El Canto del Loco, RX Bandits.

They own a style that has left its mark on the rock done in Venezuela, LOS MESONEROS materialized their first songs in the EP recorded in 2009 and successfully launched in March 2010, highlighting tracks that served as promotional singles such as “No puedes ver”, “Ciclos y “El Incredulo” which reached the 5th position in the Billboard's pop rock.

Restless and eager to shake the stage with their music, LOS MESONEROS return to the recording studio to record - July-August 2010 - "Indelible" (“Indeleble”), their anticipated first album. The material has eleven songs of their own, was recorded in Caracas, counted with the mix of Hector Castillo at Downtown Music Studios, New York and was mastered by Dave McNair at Sterling Sound, NY.
The track "One Second" (“Un Segundo” ) served as the introduction letter to the album that was released in July 2011 that within weeks took possession of the second place on the Billboard Pop Rock with lyrics that speak to the young people in their own language and to the point, a feature that daily generates more fans. Moreover, the single was posted on the official account of the Group @ Losmesoneros and became, in a few minutes, the more popular song of the social network Twitter surpassing 6000 downloads.

The acoustic video clip of their song "One Second" (“Un Segundo” ) has also shaken Internet obtaining more than 8,600 visits since its launching in April 2011. Their first CD is named "Indelible" (“Indeleble”) and launched into the market on July 13 of that year, with two concerts to packed house, in the Concert Hall of CorpBanca together with Gerry Weil, Alfredo Naranjo (vibraphonist) as special guests.

2012 represents for LOS MESONEROS the year of international projection with "Indelible" (“Indeleble”) as the single, they launch their first official video telling a story that is torn between the unreal and moving, under the direction of Miguel Angel Alonso, with a projection to be broadcasted in TV channels and musical videos of Latin America.
The premiere of this clip shall be performed on May 22, 2012. Besides counting with the presence of artists, family members, friends and the media, this premiere gathers all the fans of the band, achieving a unique event, full of good vibes.
They have had a successful promotional tour in the main cities of Venezuela, such as Merida, San Cristobal, Punto Fijo, Maracaibo, Puerto La Cruz and in Barquisimeto LOS MESONEROS were representing Venezuela in the concert of Hombre G. Also, in June 28, have their first performance in Miami city which is the first step to their internationalization.

On September 25th, The Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, announced 4 Latin Grammys nomination to the rock band, being the most nominated artist in Venezuela this year, including the categories, Best New Artist, Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song and Best Recording Package.

LOS MESONEROS are much more than a phenomenon full of youth and good music. It is a band born to achieve success and break the mold of traditional music in Venezuela. With them, the rock made in their country dresses-up and definitely makes history.
