Mi Reyna, means MY QUEEN, it's a popular compliment sound arises in Mexico City. The band was born one spring of 2008, originally by Regina Guerrero (US) and Fernando Llanos (MX), then adds Maria Lipkau on the cello. The first album was recorded by Marco Olivera (of La Agrupación Cariño) with all instruments on one session, on a sunny sunday.
The second disc was cooked by new members recruited from various latitudes: Marcia Valverde landed in the Pleiades during a rehearsal, Estefania areas came from the south of America on a Patagonian lamb, Chac and Fernando Díaz Alejo joined during a wedding in the Anahuacalli Museum, and Marco Castro and Fernando Llanos remained last configuration.
