Bio

Lost in Flight are a four piece rock/pop/alternative band from Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of Dan Fox (lead vocals, guitar), Ivan Campbell (piano, synths, backing vocals), Mark Lavery (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Billy Campbell (drums, backing vocals). They have shared the stage with many international artists, including Mr Hudson and Tinchy Styder.
After forming in September 2010, they recorded their debut EP (Last Breath EP) in Noel Hogan’s (Cranberries) personal studio with producer/engineer Owen Lewis (Snow Patrol, R.E.M, Editors, Lady Gaga, Paolo Nuitini). Since then, they have appeared alongside X-Factor’s Olly Murs and Joe McElderry on Irish chart show “Pop4" and had interviews on national radio stations RTE 2fm, Spin 1038 and 98fm. The lead track off the EP, Last Breath, is in constant rotation on these stations. They have also been receiving notable press coverage with a full page feature in Hotpress (Irelands premier music magazine), KISS (teen magazine) and Stellar (fashion/music magazine) and celebrity endorsement from the likes of Drew Barrymore and David Hasselhoff, who notably tweeted “Last Breath is a rockin’ tune”.

The band launched a 3 week television advertising campaign on the 12th of November 2010 to coincide with the release of the EP. This was featured at 6 prime slots during “The X-Factor” (620,000 viewers on each occasion) on TV3 as well as receiving continuous coverage on E4, MTV, Sky One, Living TV, E!, Comedy Central and TV3 all across Ireland. This campaign resulted in over 10,000 downloads of Last Breath, which peaked at #1 in the Irish iTunes chart.

Lost In Flight plan to go back into the studio in January 2011 to record an album and follow this with an extensive tour, which is being planned at the moment.

The group also plan to tour Japan in 2011 having established a large Japanese fanbase through myspace.
