Bio

Lost In Time was originally formed in September, 2010 by Kevin Ingram and Alex Macaluso. The band has gone through several changes in the line up since that early period as they searched for other players that would provide the right fit. Lost In Time is an eclectic cover band that plays a wide variety of hit music from the past with a focus on early rock and roll. The band plays what they like, and hopefully the fans like also.

The bands motto is Family, Work, and then Band. All of the band members have a strong tie to their families and their communities. One of the things the band is most proud of are the shows they often play for a variety of fund raising events. During the summer of 2012 the band helped in raising almost $100,000 at these events.

If you want to hear hits that you remember from the past, meet up with friends and family to have a good time, then by all means come out for one of our shows and join us as we all get Lost In Time.

ALEX - THE MAC, DRUMMER EXTRODINARE
Alex Macaluso, Drummer: Alex first started playing drums when he was 20 and is self-taught. Some of his earliest musical influences were Grand Funk Railroad, Cream, Led Zeppelin, and many other bands from that period. Alex was never in a formal band before Lost In Time but has extensive experience jamming with a wide range of informal groups. Even today Alex listens to a variety of music but has strong preference for the music of the past. Alex also spent two years in the merchant marine with his travels taking him from the ports of the gulf coast states to ports in the Mediterranean Sea. In fact it was on one of his early cruises to Turkey that Alex bought his first drum kit.

PAT BROD - LEAD GUITAR/BACKGROUND VOCALS
The lead guitarist for Lost in Time started playing guitar at 15 years old and was influenced by the faces of the 70's and 80's hard/pop rock scene and world renowned Chicago Blues styles.

After studying for 6 years Pat took some time away from his musical pursuits to head in another direction and pursue his professional career.

After a time, yearning to perform, Pat jumped back into playing with a few of the local suburban cover bands such as Junk Mail, Keep This Coupon, CenterLine, Presumed Innocent, Memphis Moving Company,Love Handles and recently Throwback.

In his current role with Lost in Time, Pat assists the members with the arrangements, style and signature that Lost in Time displays at their shows. He serves up a rock'n/blues style with tasty lead and rhythm work that really helps to round out the overall sound of Lost in Time.

"CAPTAIN" JIM HUGGINS - BASS GUITAR
Originally from Texas, his musical influences were classic country (George Jones, Buck Owens, Hank Williams Sr., etc.). During high school Jim discovered the Dallas underground FM radio scene powered by hippies and acid rock and was pretty much ruined for life! His music foundation was laid playing trumpet for several years in middle school/high school. Jim spent several years in his late 20's playing the guitar but put it aside to live his life, have a career, and raise his family. After many years away he started playing again and then several years ago switched to what he calls his true calling as a bass player. Jim says "I really enjoy framing a good song and locking in on the groove. When we are all tight and locked in, ain't nothin better." Jim is also a Navy veteran (1972-76) serving onboard the guided missile cruiser U.S.S. England, CG-22.

KEVIN INGRAM - LEAD VOCALS
Kevin became interested in music when he was 12 years old. The song Burning Love by Elvis Presley was on the radio. I loved it. Since that day Elvis has been his favorite artist by far. His parents bought him a Gibson electric guitar and took lessons for 2 years and then quit playing. He always wanted to sing but was too afraid to sing in front of people. That is until……he turned 48 years old and started a band called Lost in Time. Now he loves singing on stage. As he quotes, “It only took me 36 years to get the balls to do it!!! That and we have a very good group of guys in the band. We love to play and do it just for a good time”. He does like other music as well. Such as; Creedence, Aerosmith, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Clapton, Johnny Cash, Bob Seger, Pink Floyd and many others

KEVIN WILLIAMS - RHYTHM GUITAR
He was first inspired by his uncle to play guitar who was a fan of Les Paul and Django Reinhardt. He was self-taught and played in a band and recorded his own album which Kevin still possesses.

At 15 Kevin started lessons with a retired blues session player and soon quit to join his first band in high school. In college he played in several bands and finally started my own punk band playing the Peoria music scene. He mostly played the underground music circuit and became a popular favorite in the area. His band recorded and released two albums distributed to the local market and they actually sold quite a few copies. Who knew
