Bio

Love grow wild, whisper softly to me, that’s what I need.
And take me over, bring me closer to life on this night.

Brilliant guitar melodies, percussion driven piano, steady bass and a pounding drum beat fuse together with authentic and poetic lyrics of life, love and hope - this is the rising sound of indie rock band, Lost in Transmission.

Hailing from the heart of the continent, Winnipeg born musicians Kyle, Cam and Jeremy began playing together in early 2006. Their first few years built a strong foundation for the band; long practices and local gigs quickly gave the guys experience and a name in the city. Their first six track EP was quickly released later that same year, featuring the single, “Make Your Move”.

The next year, Lost in Transmission gained another vocalist and guitarist. Glen joined the band in the summer of 2007, enhancing the energy and sound that LIT was already known for. Together they composed lyrics and music for songs such as anthemic “Take Me Over” and energetic “Pindrop”, proving their versatility and bringing the band to a whole new level of musicianship.

Lost in Transmission has become well known and well liked, receiving regular radio play and performing with up and coming bands. In Winter 2008, the band decided to share their sound with Western Canada on their first multi-province tour. “The first tour was just as much encouraging as it was exciting.” says Glen. “Our music was widely accepted, and the experience inspired and motivated us to share our songs with even more people that love music.”

And that’s exactly what they’re pursuing now. The last year had the boys writing and re-writing again, practicing and playing hard – getting ready to release their second, yet first album together. Lost In Transmission’s 2nd EP is set to be released in spring 2009 and this time around they’re making it big. Lost in Transmission is set to play at over 20 venues along the East Coast, including the Hard Rock Café in Toronto, from (April 23rd – May 16th).
