Climb

Written By: Lost Parade

Climb
Sometimes you catch all the garbage
And you pay, for things that you don’t want
But then you break through the bottom
And it’s great, the pain is over for now
Don’t want to float in the ocean
Just want to play in the lake
Don’t want to crawl with the notion
That I can stand up straight

I will embrace this regardless
And I’ll wait, indeed the hue’s so blunt
Birthdays and relationships drowning
Tears sedate, the rain is over for now

Don’t want to bake in the oven
The sun can warm my face
Don’t want to roll feeling broken
Or lost and out of place

Don’t want to float in the ocean
Just want to play in the lake
Don’t want to crawl with the notion
That I can stand up straight

And I will stick, and I will stay
And I will abide by my own fate
And I will stick, and I will stay
And I will abide by my own fate…by my own fate

If I leave the ground, I’ll be ok
I feel at home, in outer space

Sanctuary

Written By: Lost Parade

sanctuary
I feel the surface of this translucent pain
a new distortion sticking pins in my brain
but can you tell me why i'm going insane?
cuz the containment is killing me

now i wait for you,
in my sanctuary of words
where i can dream in melodies
and we can fly to the end of the earth

I see the answers but the questions aren't plain
and you digest me when i'm callin your name
but can you tell me why i'm going insane?
cuz the containment is killing me

So now i wait for you,
in my sanctuary of words
where i can dream in melodies
and we can fly to the end of the earth

Something inside that can bring home the sun
to find gold in a mine that was givin upon
you believe it could be what you always could see
it's the biggest of stars in your world

So now i wait for you,
in my sanctuary of words
where i can dream in melodies
and we can fly to the end of the earth

My Oxygen

Written By: Lost Parade

my oxygen
Every time i sink, you bring me back afloat
Every time i sink, you bring me back afloat
All the times i looked into your eyes
and how i wanted to be
The only on that you were headed for
and now that someone is me

Hey mama how you bring it to me
You convey your lovin' with an all important style
Never faulter you're as strong as can be
You provide the antidote to anything that ailes me

Every time i sink, you bring me back afloat
Every time i sink, you bring me back afloat
And all i wanted was to hold you close
and be your everything
Those sentimental eyes, they carry me home
and now i'm livin' a dream

Hey mama how you bring it to me
You convey your lovin' with an all important style
Never faulter you're as strong as can be
You provide the antidote to anything that ailes me

All i wanna do, is hold onto you
All i wanna be is your everything
All i wanna do, is hold onto you
All i wanna be is your everything,
Everything, everything....to you

All i wanna do, is hold onto you
All i wanna be is your everything
All i wanna do, is hold onto you
All i wanna be is your everything

Every time i sink, you bring me back afloat
Every time i sink, you bring me back
