Bio

Lost Subject was formed on a cold day in Oakville, Ontario back in January of 2005. Former bandmates Kyle Patriquin and Tom Popovic came together with drummer Bryant Patriquin in the brother’s basement and immediatley clicked together. With Tom's defining bass sound, Kyle’s unique vocals and endless guitar talents, the guys had no problem writing song after song.

With a 3 song demo in hand, Lost Subject had a quick start playing all over Toronto in venues like The Opera House, The Reverb, The 360 Club, and the El Mocambo to mention a few. Listeners loved the sound they had created with Kyle and Tom’s heavy Tool influence and Bryant’s metal backround. They had great success with Emergenza’s international competition as well. Runners up in the semi finals their first year, and just falling short at the finals the year after. Lost Subject was proving that they could rock hard and belonged on the stage.

In late 2006, early 2007 Lost Subject began to work with Mastermind Studio and their amazing staff to create their first full length cd. Even with hard times falling on the guys, especially Kyle as he suffered through some bad depression. Despite all this, they still worked hard and released an awesome self titled album. Lost Subject then began to branch out to other cities and venues like The Westside Concert Theatre in Hamilton, and the Ledgendary Red Rooster in Burlington to promote their album.

What’s next for Lost Subject? The guys are working on playing all over Ontario for late 2007. Spreading their unique sound onto all the ears that they can while having a blast on stage and a drink with new friends after. Fuelled by their love for music and their lust to play live there is nothing that can stop the guys now. Look for them rock’n a stage near you!
