"Los Yo Yais Make History With Honda"

WU-LATINO RELEASES CINEMATIC VIDEO
FOR NEW SINGLE “MAMITA VEN” BY LOS YO YAIS

Starring: Shown Black, NP Killa, Rayroq Acosta, The RZA, DJ Crème, Victoria "Chula" Santiago, Annette and Jennifer Pierre. The song will be featured in the debut release from WU-LATINO entitled "Quemando El Genero".

New York, NY – As WU-LATINO prepares it's first official release, label president Rayroq Acosta teams up with Honda motors to debut a cinematic music video for the new single, "Mamita Ven", starring Los Yo Yais who will be featured in the up coming "Revolucion Tour” and “ Cuervoton Tour” starting in early 2006. On the heals of his success as VP of Musica Latina & Marketing at Urban Box Office, Rayroq makes a big splash with the music video which will be the first time an American corporation fully sponsors a reggaeton music video. Directed by Edwin Decena, "Mamita Ven", is a romantic tale that finds Los Yo Yais taking their boss's (Rayroq's) nieces for a day around the town. Ultimately, the girls become enchanted by Shown Black and NP Killa's charm and they prompt the guys to sneak off with them. Once Rayroq finds out that his nieces snuck out with Los Yo Yais, he calls on his goons to look for his nieces. The video ends as a "to be continued".

Featured in the video is the new line of 2006 Honda Civics. "It was a great experience working with Los Yo Yais, very humble and talented artist" said director Edwin Decena. "We've taken reggaeton to uncharted terroritory, by garnering corporate sponsorship, the genre will be afforded the same opportunities that have been available to American hip hop artist" said president Ray Acosta." It's something we are very proud of at Wu-tang Latino and it is a standard that we are looking to maintain...trailblazers in the genre."

The album "Quemando El Genero" will be released in Fall 2006.

Bio

The Killer Bees Have Gone Tropical

Los Yo Yais are a symbol of the Reggeaton movement. We have all experienced different cultures attempting to impact the American music market with their musical genre. Many have tried but none have come close to the seismic impact of Reggeaton. Los Yo Yais Reggeaton group, signed to Wu-Latino, is a representation of the unity between the Reggeaton culture and the American music market.

With the corporate support of the RZA (the musical mastermind behind the Wu-Tang Clan and Kill Bill Soundtracks), Los Yo Yais have already held similar resemblance to the Killer Bees by swarming their way and pioneering the music world. N.P. Killah’s and Fuego's lyrics have stunned all who’ve listened. Shown Black’s, the group’s vocalist, has a voice which has him being compared to the greats like Marc Anthony, and Frankie J. Simply said they are the forefront of Wu-Latino. Los Yo Yais have already made an impact by touring nationally and internationally making appearances in California, Miami, Chicago, and in the Dominican Republic. Their first music video “Mamita Ven” which was co-sponsored by Honda was shot within the group’s hometown New York City. Through out the Tri-State region Los Yo Yais have appeared in various community festivals throughout the Bronx and Manhattan. Recently Los Yo Yais came off a Tri- City tour which dealt with performances and appearances in Felipe Lopez first annual Celebrity basketball Game, radio interviews, meet and greets, the Wu-Tang Clans Reunion concert in NYC, plus a performance on La Kalle’s Sunken Meadow Park concert August 13th. With their latest single “Buscando Una Mujer” which was featured in the movie “Who is Juan Bago”, at HBO’s 2006 New York International Latino Film Festival, their spectacular talent will continue to shine.

The impact they will have on the American music market, as well as what they will be doing for the community is incomparable. The combination of Shown Black, Fuego, and NP Killah create “Los Yo Yais”. Please feel free to look at our calendar for up coming events.
