Bio

Bruised Apple's songs touch upon several emotions ranging from joy to sorrow; intelligent, yet sensitive lyrics soothe the listening senses as they discuss relationships, longing, moving on, and a search for love that can only be found in praise.

Their debut album in 1998 'Time Expired' was a groundbreaking project, but this time the original song-writers, (Mann and Harmon) are back and better than ever, perhaps, even wiser in the direction they've taken.

Like most bands, Bruised Apple has priorities, but worldly wealth isn't one of them. "There was a time when playing gigs and hoping to bring in lots of cash was an important issue." recalls Mann, "But we don't need any of that," Harmon responds. "What keeps us going is that in the end, we are able to touch some lives through the power of our music."

Their music is vast in guitar work, accompanied by rich vocal harmonies and composed with good drum and bass arrangements. Hard rockin' grooves like Make it Through, Working on the Details and Princess of my Afternoons will have you singing along. Haunting ballads such as Butterfly, A Hard Week and Less than Whole will leave you deep in thought and on the edge of your seat.

Honest storytelling and soulful melodies make 'Working on the Details' a great soundtrack for those long drives, heck... great for any occassion! Once you pop in this CD we guarantee you'll never want to turn it off.
