Bio
Louise Macgregor started singing before she could talk, making incoherant noises along to Madonna records and providing endless entertainment for the relo's. Fast forward quite a few years and you meet a 23 year old at the beginning of an exciting journey..through her own music.
Writing since the age of 16, Louise recieved encouragement to continue, being selected to participate as a finalist in Triple J's Unearthed 2001. Since then Louise has had success with an acoustic covers duo, earned a diploma in music and taught vocals. But her main focus has been on creating a slection of emotive songs to perform.
With a voice trained in Jazz yet described as "sweet country tinged soprano", Louise's regular performances around Melbourne have been consistantly compelling.
In the last two years Louise has won a number of singer/songwriter competitions, resulting in recording time and the songs featured on this page.
