my name is louis t. ferenchak
ive worked as a bassman in the s.f. bay area for many years.
playing in church, show bands, rock bands, and my main love reggae. i consider myself a solid cat. dependable and busness savy. the show must go on. today i spend my time writing songs. ive got so many dont know what to do. my aim is to get published and find a gig. the songs ive posted are a few of many, demo or work tape quality. recorded in a closet of a vacant apt. in santa cruz. its gotta get done. either by myself or with the help of a producer. i write and play all the songs you hear.using my fenderjazz ,les paul, realistic keyboard, xm85 mic, all into the boss br digital recorder, kinda limiting but its all i have. I ve been influenced by motown sound, the jackson five, marvin gaye. on bass i enjoy s.clarke, jaco, m. miller. flaba holt, r.carter, mingus. steve harris. i have a good story and draw from those experiences when i write. i do struggle between commercial pop and the truths of honest music. but tracks and concept can work together if u keep it real. what sets me apart from others is one thing. i have image, talent, relentless work drive, at least 700 gigs under my belt, i understand showbiz, customer service. im an all american crosssover with an acoustic bass guitar. and there is only one louis th coolest. but before i start a band, i gotta shop me. once i get my cd out. i want to belong to a company. if not oh well im known as a man who always creates his own thing. then its hit the road and crush every night with no remorse. thanks for listening.
