This talented and likeable soft-spoken praise-balladeer will garner considerable attention inside and outside the P&W community in for his gentle and believable artistry. Simply produced, Lou does not need to trawl widely for material so if you enjoy sweet, true-blue, personal-praise fare - this is highly recommended. A competent songwriter, his compositions are tenderly crafted and interpreted. This handsome set of tracks would be comfortable in any sunrise or sunset P&W setting. Yes, his song-repertoire is gentle-on-the-ear, nothing corny or tasteless - an absolute gem as of which Lou should be proud. The whole concept is a welcome release from the customary aggressive themes. Sure it is syrupy but there’s nothing artless about it. It is a truly appropriate observance of worship-hood by a dedicated talent in light folk sound. I can imagine Lou sweetly singing these in a special, restful sacred event.
