With a sound largely based in traditional bluegrass roots with an emphasis on dynamic vocals and musicianship, Lou Reid anchors the band with lead vocals and is arguably the most recognizable voice in bluegrass music.
“Callin’ Me Back Home” is a statement surrounding the premise of this entire project. It takes the listener to the place where each of the band members and guests planted their roots – in the firm, solid ground of bluegrass music.
Lou Reid is joined by noted band members Christy Reid, Trevor Watson, and Shannon Slaughter along with very special guests and award-winning musicians Tony Rice, Ron Stewart, Rob Ickes, and Mike Auldridge.
